Unfortunately, many Christian and Catholic Churches aren’t quite there yet when it comes to affirming the LGBTQ+ community. I wish it was different, and I hope I can be a change maker by advocating for LGBTQ+ issues. I firmly believe Jesus would not want anyone to discriminate or judge anyone in his name. Churches are imperfect institutions. I focus on my personal relationship with Jesus rather than focusing on any particular church.
